PolarBlaster™ Deicing Agent
Winter Management offers a complete line of PolarBlaster™ products. PolarBlaster™ is a non-toxic, water soluble, non- flammable, biodegradable product that is less corrosive than water. It is manufactured from a co-product of corn, grain or agricultural processing that contains brewers condensed solubles, which is added to a base of Magnesium Chloride (MgCl2).
How PolarBlaster™ Works
This product line can be applied to bare surfaces hours before the start of an expected snow or ice storm. This results in the creation of a nonstick surface, and makes snow and ice removal quick and easy. PolarBlaster™ can also be applied to a bare surface at the start of a snow or ice storm, which can possibly reduce the accumulation of snow by as much as two inches. After a storm, residual
patches of ice and snow can also be treated with PolarBlaster™, which melts these spots even at low temperatures. Our ice melt products are an excellent low temperature, environmentally gentle deicer
choice, which are less harmful to plants and animals than other products. Winter Management ice melt products reduce corrosion to equipment, require less salt
use on roadways and no need for sand — a savings on both equipment and spring clean up.
